The Beginning of Spring

We have been able to go outside more with the nice spring weather.  Hanging out on the grass at BYU.

Getting ready for a ride in the stroller.  Madison doesn't like the sun in her eyes at all.

Time to change into something cooler.

On our way up to Pocatello for cousin Hazel's baby blessing.  Good thing Gillian was in the backseat to keep her entertained.

Meeting Hazel.

They don't seem too interested in getting to know each other.

Some playtime together helps them bond.

"Dad, give me food."

"Yum...these fingers aren't so bad for a snack."

A nice little nap on the way home.

Madison really likes to put things into her mouth these days.

The Thorley Babysitting Party

This week Tyler and I have taken full advantage of our babysitting opportunities.  Tyler's brother Steven watched Madison while we went to a chocolate party.  The chocolate party consisted of various chocolate (white and semi-sweet) and caramel fountains with any and everything your heart imagined to dip into the fountains.  One of my favorites turned out to actually be ruffle potato chips dipped in chocolate...who in the world came up with that?  It was a nice salty sweet taste.  On Thursday Tyler and I went to listen to the Utah Symphony.  My Aunt Ken and Uncle Steve have taken Madison in as one of their own.  Madison was in a jolly mood, which means Madison has been invited back.  Aunt Ken wants us to go out again next week for some more baby time.

It doesn't look like she is missing her mom and dad too much in these photos.

Hanging out with Uncle Steve.

Poop Attack

I think Madison is out to get me as she peed on me yesterday and today covered me in poop as I was getting a blanket for tummy time.  The crazy part is both times the insides of her diapers were pretty clean and dry.  I'm not sure how she did it, but that is talent.

Our bathroom sink has become the official spot for soaking her messy clothes.  It is a rare thing to find our sink empty these days.

She really likes to read books if you get her at the right moment.  Other times she is too squirmy.

This is my pig.  Since the beginning of our marriage Tyler has known not to touch the pig unless he is fattening it up.  I always know when he has been in the pig as he forgets to put the contents back.  He use to say it was for "bus money".  Today he stole from the pig for fast offerings because he couldn't find his checkbook and people were waiting.  Not only did he managed to snag all the high bills, but he also left the pig in this state...as usual.  Halfway in our marriage Tyler informed me that right before we got married (my stuff was at our new place) Tyler dumped all the contents out to count how much money there was while I was in LA.

Madison hanging out in her bumbo.  Usually she sits up better than this, but I couldn't get her to budge.  Sometimes she gets stuck in the bumbo when we try to take her out.

 Sunday nap.
